Scottie’s Sofa Sales is a furniture retail company specialising in the online sale of sofas and related home furnishings. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products to you.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
3. Product Information
- All sofas are subject to availability.
- Product descriptions, dimensions, fabrics, finishes, and photos are provided for general information only. Variations in colour or texture may occur due to monitor settings or natural material differences.
- We reserve the right to discontinue or change product specifications without notice.
4. Orders and Payments
- All prices are listed in British Pounds and include applicable taxes where required by law.
- Orders are not binding until accepted by Scottie’s Sofa Sales. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
- Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or shipped.
- Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Shopify Payments.
5. Custom Orders
- Custom-made sofas (e.g. custom fabric, dimensions, or configuration) require a non-refundable deposit of £100 at the time of order.
- Custom orders may not be cancelled or refunded once production has begun.
- Estimated lead times for custom items will be provided at checkout but are subject to change.
6. Shipping and Delivery
- We offer nationwide delivery. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
- Delivery includes curbside drop-off unless otherwise specified or upgraded.
- You are responsible for ensuring that furniture fits through doors, stairways, and elevators. Failed deliveries due to inaccessibility may incur redelivery or restocking fees.
- You must inspect your order upon delivery and report any damage or missing items within 48 hours.
7. Damages and Defects
- Minor imperfections or variations in upholstery, stitching, or finish are considered normal with handcrafted or natural materials.
- If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and a detailed description.
- We will offer repair, replacement, or compensation depending on the extent of the issue and product availability.
8. Returns and Exchanges
- In-stock sofas may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
- Custom or made-to-order sofas are final sale and not eligible for return or refund.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

9. Cancellations
- Orders for in-stock items may be cancelled prior to dispatch for a full refund.
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
10. Warranty
- Our sofas come with a limited [12-month] warranty covering manufacturer defects in frame, construction, and upholstery under normal use.
- The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or improper care.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including images, branding, product names, logos, and descriptions, is the intellectual property of Scottie’s Sofa Sales and may not be used without our written permission.
